1. Project Engineer

Seeking young dynamic Multilingual (English/Hindi/Punjabi) project engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve including but not limited to scheduling, plan, forecast, resource, site supervisions and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.


Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Skills

  • Proven working experience as a project engineer
  • AutoCAD ,Bluebeam a Plus.
  • MS Project /PrimaveraP6 will be Required. Must be capable to learn
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Project management and supervision skills
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills
  • Time management and organization skills
  • BS degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
  • Must have ability to drive through in all 5 boroughs ,NYC.

OPT /H1B /PERM filing can be provided for deserving candidates

Coordinates and supervises the planning, design and construction of engineering practices such as water management, animal waste management erosion control, flood control, and other conservation practices needing engineering guidance.
Recommends changes in designs, specifications, and schedule to accommodate conditions at the construction site, availability of materials, or to expedite construction.


Plans and conducts pre-bid site showing, approves construction schedules, monitors work for compliance with plans and specification and contract requirements.
Directs and performs site investigations and feasibility studies, field checks and field construction-checks for conservation practice installations.


Coordinates and conducts necessary quality assurance reviews of planned, designed, and constructed engineering projects in the assigned area or state.
Serves as or directs the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
Provides technical guidance and training to personnel in the area of all engineering practices and in the use and care of engineering equipment.
